WHAT: SUN LAKES DEMOCRATIC CLUB MEETING
WHEN: MONDAY, AUGUST 13, 2012
WHERE: SUN LAKES COUNTRY CLUB, NAVAJO ROOM
TIME: 7:00 P.M.
Please join us as we welcome LILIA ALVAREZ, the Democratic candidate for the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors – District 3.
Alvarez co-founded Citizens for a Better Arizona, the group responsible for the 2011 significant recall of former AZ Senate President Russell Pearce. Lilia earned her BA in Psychology and MS in Public Health from the University of Arizona. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Phoenix School of Law. As a Scottsdale resident, wife and parent, Lilia looks forward to serving on the Maricopa County Board of supervisors. In her words, Alvarez wants to fight for open process and integrity and also support accountability, not the “gimmicks” from the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.
Since it’s election season, we may also have a surprise visit from another Democratic Candidate or two.
