The Sun Lakes Republican Club will feature “The Socialization of America and the 2012 Elections” with guest speaker Dr. David Noebel, at its regular meeting Tuesday, February 14, at 6:30 p.m. in the Arizona Room of the Sun Lakes Country Club, 25601 S. Sun Lakes Blvd., Sun Lakes, AZ 85248. The public is invited.
Margaret Thatcher famously said in 1976, “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people’s money.” Ideas have consequences, and the 20st and 21st centuries have witnessed the destructive consequences of utopian schemes and ideas. Americans across the political spectrum have begun to take notice and take action.
Dr. Noebel presents a well-documented “crash course” on the history and the true nature of Marxism/Socialism/Progressivism in America. This will be one meeting you will not want to miss, and one you will long remember. These questions and more will be addressed: What is the difference between Communism and Socialism? Is Communism dead? Why do so many at the top levels of our government continue to embrace this failed vision? What do the socialists have planned for the 2012 Elections, and how will it affect you and your family?
Dr. David Noebel is the co-author, along with Dr. Fred C. Schwarz, of the 2010 book You Can Still Trust the Communists to Be Communists (Socialists and Progressives too). Dr. Schwarz was one of the most influential writers and speakers of the 20th Century, and his books have been translated into dozens of languages with millions of copies distributed around the world. Dr. Noebel is President Emeritus of Summit Ministries and President of the Christian Anti-Communist Crusade. He is a member of the American Philosophical Association and the author of the highly acclaimed worldview classic, Understanding the Times: The Collision of Today’s Competing Worldviews. Dr. Noebel’s books will be available for purchase at the meeting.
AZ State Senator Steve Yarbrough (LD21) will provide an important update on AZ Redistricting. For more information, visit our web site at www.slgop.org or contact Mike Tennant, 480-802-0178.
