Sun Lakes has A LOT of amenities. golf, tennis, pickleball, swimming, walking paths, fitness centers…you name it and we’ve probably got it. One of the things we have that many Active Adult communities do not is Racquetball. It’s one of Sun Lakes’ best kept secrets, in fact.
The newly renovated racquetball club is located in the lower level of the Palo Verde Clubhouse. There are 2 courts with separate viewing locations (from above for tournament or game watching) or at court level through the glass window viewing areas.
There will be a Grand Opening on Sunday, February 13 from 1-3PM and all residents of Sun Lakes are invited to attend. Racquetball demonstrations and introductory lessons will be available (make sure you wear tennis shoes if you’d like a lesson). Racquetball members will also be present to answer your questions regarding lessons, court usage and membership fees for Sun Lakes and Iron/Oaks residents.
The racquetball courts are open 7 days a week from 6 am to 1 pm. Shower facilities for both men and women are located adjacent to the courts.
